To propose some topic from me.. well "Next destination for fab re union of LOSERS "... Well as always they hardly materialize so I am guessing may be this wont too. So lets include all our fantasies in the response too as we know we it will not work out :)

Hi Guys Sup???

So everyone seems busy these days. May be I'm too busy thats why feeling so :)

ya so Blog seems to be completely dead. Anyways,I screwed up my N72 some days back and was about to lose all the the data and messages. but luckily, got it repaired and didn't lose anything. While surfing through all the data in the phone, I came across some messages.

Do U guys remember our Bawdhan Choupati Dinner?? I mean the farewell Night? ? Or the great Hasan's accident night??

I'm a bit confused but AFAIR, all these events happened on the same day. I think 25th April was Farewell + Hasan's accident and Bawdhan choupati was in May. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah So its been an Year now.. we are no longer New Coll Grads.. :( . I take this opportunity to wish Hasan " Belated Happy Anniversary" for completion of 1 year of his heroic Act.

And Yeah, we did get a bit too senti that day about 'keeping up the spirit of our group', 'once in a year meet' and stuff.. I have stored those messages of that day from all of you. Thought of putting them here on the blog so that even if I lose my cell next time, I dont lose these Precious pieces of Texts.

Hello Losers...

As you all know we've a long weekend coming along the way.. in the form of a Good Friday.

How about all of us meeting up??

Coming to the point, here are a couple of options:

1. Harihareshwar Beach:

* An untouched beach.. as people call it on the west coast.

* Some 180 km from Pune.

* Has cottage resorts on the beach.

* Nearby places include Diveagr, GanapatiPule n some more...

* These resorts have privately-owned beaches too with permission to do bonfires n all..

* Contacted the MTDC Resort at Harihareshwar beach. Its already full for the 2nd to 4th April weekend.

* Another option is the resort @ Diveagr beach (30 km from Harihareshwar)

Charges: 2500/- per cottage for two persons.

2. IPL match MI vs DC (Saturday 3rd April @ 8 pm):

* A nice option as well to have a blast... :)

* Tickets worth 2000/- n 5000/- available. (checked on IPL website)

* Would have to decide what to do on Friday...???

A long time after, on one fine day,

A thought came across that was there to stay.

Lets all meet up, a Loser suggested,

Waves of sentiments went pass by,

“Yes, yes, yes” came the only reply,

Dates were fixed n the countdown had begun,

Full of excitement for a great re-union.

A long time after, smiles exchanged,

That moment I thought that nothing has changed.

The job, the money, the glory and the fame,

No matter what, we losers are the same.

The coming 3 days were surely a blast,

They took all of us to the unforgettable past.

Sitting at the boat club, chatting all the time,

In memory of those days, here goes the rhyme…

Treat at Chutney’s gave a perfect head-start,

No more distances were to keep us apart.

Haunted house minus the 4D effect,

Trip to the Maze, thanks to the defect.

Screaming, yelling and shouting in the dark,

Fooling the ghost with a mobile spark.

Thai noodles and dear Abhijit’s face,

One after another, as if in a race.

We hogged n grabbed the food like mad,

Can never forget, what a dinner we had.

Delicious desserts, never heard or known,

Cups over cup at the Cream Stone.

The lull silence at the Hussain Sagar lake,

Caressed our hearts and filtered the fake.

With every passing moment, one thing I saw,

Each one of us, wondering in awe,

The re-union plan had finally worked out,

"THE REUNION" Plan!!!

Hi Guys,M sooooo glad that the small thought of all of us meeting here is "most probably" goin to work out.

Okay so i am posting this so that v can plan out systematically as to how we ll be spending the 2 n a half days together, with proper use of time plus having a blast together :D
So this a a very rough idea of what i have thot of:

1) u pple ll b reachin here on 2nd till 10 am (max).
-Need to figure out something to do in eve (was thinkin of hussain sagar, a must see in hyd :P)
-Dinner on necklace road- a late nit movie after dinner (may b wake up sid! releasin dat day itself).

2) 3rd oct i.e. saturday i was thinkin v ll go to Ramoji Film city, which will comsume an entire day almost. But it ll b fun to go wit every1.

3) 4th oct not sure till wen v ll b having time, need to plan accordin to how much time we have.(Please update wat time u pple r leaving)

I know quite a few nic places to go bt r a lil far away some dams n stuff, so please update ur departure plans, so dat v can plan accordingly.

Any issues with d above rough plan or suggestions/improvements/changes PLEASE comment.

Yes guys... it seems years that we left college n started "working". It has become a more of "really" boring routine. So why not all of us meet up???

Getting to the point, Sep 21st (Monday), Sep 28th (Monday) and Oct 2nd (Friday) are all holidays.. That means we have three "long weekends". So we all can plan as per our convenience and meet in hyderabad on any one weekend.. Why hyderabad??? Coz majority of losers are there... And coz remotely it seems to be the center of the odd scalene triangle Pune-Hyderabad-Bangalore.. ;)

So guys, looking fwd to ur response.
let us all gather n celebrate...for a change.

Fool's day!

Hi losers! A post after years literally! My last post on this blog was in 2008... Had kinda forgotten about writing here... Anyways getting straight to the topic, this is about Yeda day ;) I mean fool's day :P

Actaully on fool's day the teen deviya of "the bus company" had decided to fool the three "dudes" of vidia... They made a very good plan but alas it could not come true... still hasan baba decided to take revenge of the this thing and started to make a plan himself.. Now it was very difficult to make all them fool together so we (he and me) decided only one victim (heda) (the easiest one ;) )

So to fool her, we decided to send her a fake mail from the company she has got offer from, writing about joining location and date... Now to not make it too fake, we mentioned Pune as her joining location and some date in July as joining date... We actually searched for the company location and mentioned the full address in the mail to make it look more authentic...

So we were very sure that this will work, so we sent the mail... As soon as we had sent the mail, hasan got a call from her... We (by now akash was also in) thought that its all over and apna hi pachaka hone wala hai... But on the contrary, she was sounding too happy and hasan was showing as if he was thinking that yeda is again fooling him... Now this was a "damn" ;) good move by Hasan, all the time she was explaining to him that she has really got the mail and hasan was like main kya do do baar pagal banunga kya :D finally hasan said that he will check his mail too after breakfast (in vidia) (which is just too good most of the times.. will post about it later...)

So in the mean time, yeda started telling everyone about joining location, date and how happy she was to get Pune! She called her mom and other relatives and they too were happy... :D She ask the other guys/ guls who had got offer from the same company and told them also about her mail... This was getting too good with every passing minute...

Finally Hasan was wishing her Happy fool's day, she was like, "Arre no I have seriously received the mail, blah blah". So hasan had to explain her in full detail, that how he has fooled her and then she understood the thing...

BTW on her b'day post I had rightly mentioned that, it should be celebrated as Yeda Day! ;)

BTW 2: Today's is "Insult day", so this post against my dushman(i). I want to become No.1 on the list... ;) ;)

its 5800 nokia express music...but sonyericsson is brand dude...finally he has the best piece in the group....n ready to showoff...:) after his tutafuta 1100...is that one dont remember.. very purana model...:) but ya one thing abt his cell camera sucks...right sameer...;)
WHATEVER...thats what will be his reaction to this i guess...bloody keeps flaunting it everywhere...don mind sam...neways jokes apart nice choice dude...internship ki kamai kahi toh udai...its a sexy piece..now when m praising ur cell so much u know why.... v need a grand lavish treat for it...its been long smebody treated...or atleast i got one..:)
dont knw why m i writing this post...damn bored...drank almost 3 cups of coffee still feelin lazy.. actually first day at work after a long vacation...

Breaking news : Results!

Its back to the same situation when i had written my greatest post ever... Our result is out and as Akash is saying everywhere and all the time including his status message on GTalk that poo has created history! She has got a 10 point! She is ~~mad~~ oh i mean genius..!! So much that i can write this complete post on her...!! ;) And no that's not all... Now she is the first lady of I.T. on CGPA scale too!! :) :) ;) (the feat that she missed out last time just by 0.01, but this time nothing stopping her) So this time around, there was no Some-dreams-never-come-true status messages from her :P She was, as always, surprised by her great score (we were not :P) And she had to say her copy-righted statements - "How did I get Ex in this!" Her score card is perfect (she is perfect ;) ;) )... Ex in everything... Perfect 10! Way to go poorva! Enjoy your the 10 point girl status.... you deserve it completely... :)

The Birthday!

Well, well, well, what a day it was! The day on which, two greats, two legends, two coepians, two ISLers, two losers were born exactly 21 years ago, the losers had a blast! इन दो ढक्कनों को भी एक ही दिन पैदा होना था! ;)

The day started, as always, in college and everyone coming late. It was frustrating enough for me, who was already enough frustrated because of the rain and the other things :| Then the ever frustrated Sarode left for home :| (More frustration) I am doubting on him being a loser now, or he has found a girl in Nigdi :P Vrushali could not join us coz of personal problems. ( And no, not sweater problems ;) ). Poorva had to go to company for some presentation (Even more, as you would have guessed till now, frustration). Well, we people have become busy with companies, even before we officially start working... So that left just 6 of us.

We decided to go to 3D for bowling and just to spend some time till evening. But the day had to be more frustrating! The bowling lanes were already booked till afternoon for some party :| So finally we ended up in CCD. Played some DumbC there... where the girls (read yeda and swat) could not tell an English word for जंगली :D. Took some pics, which are censored and can't be posted here. ;) Finally when all were bored of the crappy acting, we decided to leave.

I was told about the crappy plan of the evening of meeting at ZK's for the dinner party. I was bored of just going outside, cutting cake, having dinner and finally going home. It was happening every other weekend. Still, could not say anything. So had decided to meet at about 8, as Swat and poo had to reach home early.

Around 8 when I was still at home, got a call from Swat. I thought, I was already late for the dinner, so the call, instead these guys called me to Akash's place as Hasan was gonna reach late. But I had no idea what these guys were up to! When Hasan and I entered Akash's house, there was a big surprise with everyone already there, with cake and candles. Room decorated, everyone singing for us and Akash playing guitar! And this was completely unexpected! I won't forget these moments in my life! What a change it was to the day and to my mood :) Thigale and poo also had come :)

Had some pizza and then our guitarist cum singer cum all rounder, played few very nice songs. And after some special requests ended the night with few classics. Seriously that was way too much than I exptected! As Hasan rightly said, these last birthdays of all getting too good... About the gifts, our losers (manvi bai, swat, vrushali and akash) walked, walked and walked the day before, for finding something for us.(and finally found wallets) I just could not stop thinking about the evening while coming home and can not stop now also... Nikhil and Vrushali u missed some great moments...

Anyways guys, the next in line is Akash* himself! Any plans??!!

*Update 1: Ah, sorry Manvi bai, the next in line in someone else for you :P You know, who i mean....................

sup losers? this is only for "the losers", as the three interns have finished their tenure... Frankly speaking their posts were completely boring! anyways more about that later...

had a boring week with the tests... screwing most of them... and now it seems that most of the losers are bugged with the boredom... :D no need to mention why and how much i am bored...you can find it on my blog.... akash is even more more bored and no you can not find that on his blog... and then there are the rest of the other losers...

seems like the days are just passing... meeting in college... pakawing each other... watchin movie every other day...at least the shaahi paneer guy does ;)

speaking about shaahi paneer guy, today we had a lecture of adbms about data mining and warehouse and all.... so somehow the prof asked if anyone of us has any bill with us... so aaaaaaakash with his wallet full of those crappy bills and those crappier tickets (no offense) found his nvidia treat's bill... that's not all, he was told to read out the things he ordered infront of whole class....

Now, in normal case this won't be a problem.... but when "we" go out to eat, there are only 2-3 people who order things...things as in food and nothin else... and these 2-3 ppl have only 2-3 favourite dishes.... just to name the most favorite, veg kolhapuri.... first of all, i don't understand how these punjabi restaurants cook this panjabi sabji in kolhapuri style with punjabi spices.... okay, they do offer this thing in the menu, but few (the same 2-3) people do actually order the veg ~~punjabi~~ kolhapuri 9 out 10 times they go to restaurent... ;) To mention some other routine stuff from our orders, veg crispy is the best starter you can have in any restaurant. And then.... i would just go on writing about it.....

Coming back to the things we ordered that day, it had some shaahi paneer lajawab pizza or something like that (yes there is pizza like this :) ) and subz-e-ishq on which the whole class started laughing.... (and you guessed it wrong! we didn't order kolhapuri this time) then later in the lecture, that prof mentioned about the shaahi paneer atleast 28 more times.... and every time he pointed at our shaahi paneer guy!!

Again coming back to watching movies.... actually the subjects i am speaking on is going on like nested loop... so i am coming out of subjects one out of the other....more actually i am not understanding most of what i am writing... may be the tests are responsible for it!! or my boredom or may be i write like that only or may be i am inspired by anuprit's pehla pehla post (actually it was not at all related to the subjects given still made some sense and the losers still read the whole post and did try to understand it)

So to sum up the post (actually this is also because of writing so many crap papers actually) it contained shaahi paneer guy, movies, boredom, losers, pehla pehla post, adbms, data warehousing and lots of crap... :P

I don't know what exactly is going on here. I didn't get to read the posts as of now, but i will read. I visited Akash ka blog and looking at the length of the post and the situation that I am currently thinking of postponing to read it.

While writing this post...

It's morning 5.46 and I am at my favorite place (I can't mention the name), where downloading speed is something around 400kb/sec and my ZUNE is playing some Indian Classical songs for me. I have taken 6 cups of Nes Tea, Chocolate Drink and Cappuccino in all and I am going lazy to throw these cups into the dustbin and get some more. Also no one is here to get these drinks for me. I am wishing someone passes by that NesCafe ki Machine and I ask him to get a Nes Tea for me so that I can keep myself up for some more time(or I am that kind of person who want to be up for taking these drinks? I really don't know.) ;)

Remembering The OSI Layers

I always hate remembering something like this. It's just takes up space on my Secondary Disk. But as these days Secondary disks are going cheaper and cheaper that is not a big issue. The issue is time taken to read names of these OSI layers from Secondary Storage. I can't afford to keep it in my RAM. But the following mnemonics can be kept in RAM at a affordable rate. This should save my time till I don't run out of my RAM and will have to take these funny mnemonics out of my RAM. (That time should be, probably my Old Age).
Alright, enough of Bakwas (Not really! ;)) and I am coming to the point...

Various mnemonics to remember 7 layers of OSI model:

So,
Akash has finally conquered company, 'jo badon badon ko nikaal deti hain ' I guess he is too big to be throw away :P.
Any ways, congrats dude.
For this company, it is difficult to clear apti first of all.
Even if you clear apti some time they dont call you for interview( point to be noted :P ).
Even if they call you for interview, they ask weird questions, after which u donn wanna continue their interview.
Even if there are so many hurdles this guy has cleared them all.
So I appreciate Akash who is now in da pool of very good coders.( All my scholar friends from other colleges are in this company ).

As an example I am writing this post @ 5.30 and i have been awake from night doing Lukkhagiri. I have project @home so full to Lukkhagiri from now. Bole toh baat yeh hain ki abhi , muzhe kuch kaam nahin hain like some of losers do hav in cos.

This post is more a compulsion rather than wat i want to write.. if i don write now i m sure to be out of this blog.. was hoping poorva would give me company ,but she too finally wrote a post.. guess sam gave her an ultimatum :).

i guess this post is a gr8 oppurtunity to thank each one....
so thanks guys... jst feel glag dat i took admission in COEP n also dat i did not get a branch change after 1st yr..(wonder wat i wud hv done in comp.. i was one of those who was hoping dat i never get a branch change from it to comp.... but if u hv friends like these one will never want to leave them...)

i think manvi has described each one of us in the best possible way so i wont do it again.. jst becomes a bit to monotonous.. n its not a very gd idea to make every1 feel so important..after all v r d losers ;)...

i m writing this post after coming back from E- Square... (was watchin The Dark Knight.. its gd but a bit grose... (hey dats my favorite word 'grose')).. sorry sneha,hasan,sam n manvi was getting too bored to go home so tht it was better to go for the movie..

I hv no idea how this yr is gonna shape up... no interest in studies left now...

Here is the biggest chance anyone can have to be a loser! An online reality show! Here you will get the chance to be a member of well known losers' group! And you will be called a loser for a whole long month.( Too many '!' marks :P ) So guys and girls, come on if you were thinking how great this group is, here is "the" chance.

The plans are yet going on for the actual contest. But the idea is the participants will have to write posts on certain topics given to them. Obviously on common topics which will be posted here on the blog itself. And the losers will select the new loser.

Ob its not yet been fixed that the person will remain only for one month. If he/she is good enough, he can be a permanent member :P. There will be complete transparency in the process. And losers' decision will be final*.

I have no words for this post. Just that Nikhil, Manvi and me have achieved the greatest of "dream" we have ever dreamt! And this would not have been possible without you guys!! Thanks all of you. Yes, all of you have been very special to me. And I will try to give as much as i can to you guys. I know this is another post by me only, another thanks giving post but this is special for special people like you.

Ok this turning into a too goodie goodie post like yesterday's sms... So the remianing losers, come on, Hydrabad is calling you! ;)

The thing i was thinking about is how i am going to be with the saint in hyd? :P She bores here only so much... what will happen there. Sarode will be fine i guess, as he won't think negatively in his life now :D No idea about the cat. Let's see. So is it the time when our dreams are starting to come true?? Yesterday, it did at least, for one of our loser. Now, i don't know whether she is eligible to be called the loser or not :D Swati got selected to "Banglore" based Oracle.

After the online test, then shortlisting for retest, then retest, then the two technical interview and finally the HR, she got "through"! Congratulations Swati!! Now the Rao sisters will rock the company :P

COEP, Pune: For the second consecutive time in the IT department of COEP, a person from the losers' group topped the branch. (Even if you take the Blood-red CS branch as a part of I.T.). And no this time the honour does not go to defending topper the poorva(9.83). She was just piped away in the last paper(C.N.) by none other than Swat the cat(9.88). Swat who was recently chosen by some company for project, continued her great day with this news.

The only sad news of the day was that poorva just failed to take the overall lead by just 0.01 of a GPA. This made her keep status messages like "Dreams always doesn't come true" etc etc. Anyways as always she managed to get a good score and still make few statements like, "How did I get Ex in CN labs?" (Signature poo style). Even she made these statements on GTalk, I could imagine how she would have spoken those if she was infront of us all.

Coming back to the topper of the semester. She was busy whole day and our correspondant could not take her reactions after her feat.

The off-field riverly between Manvi baba and Mankar baba continued on-field this time and Manvi baba(9.38) just won the race of the GPA by 0.05. This indicates how close the semester was for the losers.

Our status man that is Sarode's net was down, so we could not get the headline for this post from his status messages... We hope that his internet is restored asap. Well, he scored 9.13. The only frustrating point for him may be the grade he got in the mini project(A). The same was the case with Vrushali who got B in the same subject unlike her partners in crime ahem i mean the project having bad GUI but good code named file sharing(or something like that) Heda and Manvi Baba who got A each.

Vrushali and Sameer each scored 9.08 and took the tally of 9 pointers to 7. Well this score might not be as good as Vrushali scored last semester but good enough to create news. ;) On the other hand Sameer looked too happy and shocked to see 9 points! The mini project controversy continued here also but he had no objections and had nothing to say.

Sneha and the Poonawala completed the formalities of this semester by scoring 8.88 and 8.63 respectively. Well they seemed too much dissapointed not to join the other losers on the other side of 9. Well these are the only two who have not joined the blog yet and God has punished them for the same. I hope atleast now they get the importance of this blog.

All in all this was a short(4 months) semester with great things happening right from start. From techfest to Poona's success in two events to the text classifiers to the internships and projects....I hope this continues in the next semester. :)

Poo's failure compared to my failure

Hi all, losers........
sup????? my 1st contribution to blog....................
Its completely Ok even if u dont thank me for this.. So the topic which i hv chosen is Poo's failure against my failure.
for those who don't know,
Poo is constantly trying to fail in at least one subject since first year.. She tries every sem very hard... and this time she tried 'the hardest'. But like every sem her constant efforts r in vain this time also and she is going to get a healthy GPA. So moral of the story is , Poo has failed to succesfully get a "BACK" in any of the subjects. Thts Poo's Failure for u guys.

now comes my failure.
i hv been trying for quite a long now to get an internship in any of the companies but some way or the other am not able to achieve tht.This situation is since February this year i think when 1st time i gave Microsoft Aptitude Test For internship.
Got rejected in HR.... the final stage of getting the internship..i still don't understand who told these losers to keep HR for internship. :( and 1st time i realised the importance of HR in any of the interviews..
a healthy 50 grands were taken away from me after comin so closer..
and my dream of buying an electric guitar also shattered into pieces.

but still there was hope.. ISL was going to come for internship. tht fact encouraged me..
gave apti of ISL and got shortlisted. the very fact that there is going to be no HR kept a smile on face. but again came the BIG REJECTION in technical interview and
shattered my dreams of electric guitar..

now i hv started playing my acoustic guitar again and
i think i shud start playin it at a station or something so tht i can collect money for my guitar..

those wid soft hearts (losers) to whom this story might hv touched at the bottom of their heart can also contribute to this great charity cause....................

n talkin abt bad luck ... i realized it has a physical form too(read d petulant SE lecturer) ... after the SE episode i m convinced there r certain things u jus dont hav control over .. u r irritated to d extent of whimsically booking a GRE date one night n den thinkin d next whole day whether d decision was right .....neways as hasan says "der is lots to come "... n i hope d comin days brings lots of luck n success to all of us...

Welcome to the losers! We are a bunch of losers from COEP. Well the poo might have an objection to the last statement. Because she is kinda new to lukhagiri. Well anyways she will get used to the term ;). Coming back to the decsription of group, it is the best group of COEP. The group of which the whole college is jealous of =)).
